Hyperlift
Privacy policy
Updated 21 October 2026
Hyperlift shows add-on offers on a Shopify store’s product page and measures which offer sells best. This page explains what the app collects, why, and how long it keeps it.
From merchants
When you install the app we store your shop’s domain and the access token Shopify issues to the app. We also store what you set up in the app: the product and add-ons you pick, the versions you write, and your settings.
From shoppers
Only when a shopper allows analytics through your store’s cookie banner, the app stores a random ID in their browser and records which version of the offer they saw, and when they saw it or added the add-on, together with the product ID. Without that consent nothing is stored in the browser and nothing is sent to us; the shopper just sees a version picked at random.
We never collect shoppers’ names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses, and we don’t store their IP addresses. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for a short time.
From orders
When an order is placed, Shopify sends the app the order. We keep only the order ID and number, the add-on line, the order total, the currency and the app’s own tags. We discard the customer’s name, email address, phone number and addresses without storing them.
How we use it
Only to run your offer test and show you its results. We don’t sell data, show ads or share data with anyone other than the hosting provider that runs the app (Render, in the United States).
How long we keep it
Shopper events and order records are deleted automatically after 395 days (about 13 months). When you uninstall the app, Shopify asks us 48 hours later to delete your shop’s data, and we delete all of it then.
Requests and questions
Shopify forwards customer data requests to us; since we hold no customer personal data, there is nothing to return or erase beyond the order records above, which we delete on request. For anything else, email hello@hyperlift.shop.
